Developed a fault tolerant platform enabling successful implementation of a revenue generation model as envisaged by the client’s business team. The platform enabled integration of various partner sites with the list of client portals.
Client Details
Client is an international special-interest media group. The client is listed on the London stock exchange. It has multiple offices in various countries worldwide. Project Brief
Client's web portfolio included a list of high quality, impartial product review based portals. There was no revenue generation model other then display of graphical and text based ads on the portals. The client business team recognized a major opportunity for monetizing these sites by providing facilities to allow easy access to product purchasing via retail partner's (Shopping Partner's) sites. The project consisted of an extranet application allowing the retail partner's to login and enter the url of the pages on which they sold particular products, which will go through 4 step validation process (Auto and Manual) before getting published on the websites using the site based components developed for the extranet. It allowed integration with any number of client sites using the same extranet product.
